A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS
Before you begin.
Who needs an account?+
Staff use an authorised ChatGPT workspace account and active SMS Signal access. General respondent survey and form links do not require a ChatGPT account. A personal respondent dashboard uses the contact’s email address and respondent ID.
Can an agreement unlock the rest of a study?+
Yes. When CDA tasks are applied to a dashboard, each must be agreed and signed before the other task links become available. The prerequisite is checked on the server, including when an older task link is opened.
Where do signed agreements and uploads go?+
They remain linked to the original form and respondent ID. Respondents can download their signed CDA PDF and submitted files from their own dashboard. Staff can download project CDAs and uploads in bulk ZIP archives.
What can be tested before going live?+
Survey and form previews open separately from live collection. Survey previews include mobile widths. Previews do not create real submissions or use appointment capacity. The question-type explorer on this website lets you try all 29 types using fictional examples. Nothing is submitted.
Are public links private or hidden?+
Public activity links are marked noindex, but anyone with a general link may open it. Noindex is not authentication. Staff workspaces use access controls, and respondent dashboard content is shown after email-and-ID sign-in.
Can I open the platform from this website?+
Yes. Select Open platform to reach the staff sign-in page at app.sms-signal.co.uk. Access still requires an authorised account. You can download the current guide or explore the fictional demonstrations on this website without signing in.
